Hi rempwifey, no this is not true. I have known people who didnt learn to drive until they were much older than 30, in fact as an adult she may actually be a safer "beginner" than had she learned as a teen as she is more mature and less likely to race around and take stupid chances. Tell her get out there learn it drive and and enjoy the advantages it gives her ;)

LOL I never said ALL teenagers were unsafe did I? But statistically teens are more unsafe than more mature people.. no refuting the facts ;)

I know I was just kidding. I mean i am so cautious but learning to drive is scary and it seems like i will be a bad driver even being cautious. But at least im not stupid.

My friend Ryan is 18 and has his own car. She is old enough.

If you can see and think quick enough to react to the situations required then you're never too old.

That is silly and asinine -- Many people dont learn till much later than that --- think about widows who never drove until they were widowed because they never needed to or folks who have been detained (for examples ) i have known people in their 40 s - 50 s and even 60 s that went and got their licence for the first time .

That's crazy. I got my license at 27 years old. Wasn't until I moved to California did I need to drive. Living in New York I used the RailRoad & subway to get around
