What do you think about a person who is always late or decides not to show or call. Laughing it off the next day with excuses. Read more...

But fires off nasty texts and phone calls if your a little late.

I would cut them loose. Clearly they think that a separate standard should apply to their behavior versus that of others. Such people are incapable of being real friends, as they have no empathy or true depth of feelings.

Yep. Green.

I had a friend who was always late, or cancelled at the last minute.
Had to tell them different times than anyone else.
Example: Tell them the party is at 7pm ... when it's really at 730pm.

It's simply their way of asserting that they are more important than anyone else. It's rude and dismissive.

They should be ashamed, they probably aren't a true friend. If they get mad at you, say that they do the same thing and that they shouldn't be mad.

Every now and then I tell her off. She gets mad and stops speaking for a while. And thats ok with me. Lol Thanks for responding.

In my opinion, the person is irresponsible and selfish. This is because he thinks of himself only and does not mind about others or how his behavior affects their line of business.
