Its been over a year since i got my diploma for medical assistant
and now i want take the test to be certified now is it too late

It's kind of too late since you are allowed about 90 days from the day you do your exams. However, you don't need to be certified to practice. You can go to http://medicalassistant.everestcollege.edu/medical-assistant-certification for help.
