Why doesn't McDonald's use real beef for burgers?

if its a big buisness and makes lots of money why not use real meat and beef

Report as

They do use real beef. McDonald's uses only 100% beef, mainly from the US, but also from Australia and New Zealand as necessary.

Yep. 100% leftover beef. Doesn't bother me. I'll still eat there if I get the urge.

Even though I always have a freezer full of Grade A beef that I have known since it was born, every now and then I have to have a Big Mac.

Me too. About twice a year. Half way through I always say I'll never have one again.

Because real 100% beef is really expensive and they might as well use 15% real beef to save money. Wouldn't you

McDonald's uses 100% beef in their hamburgers. 100% grade D meat. Which is exactly what every other fast food place uses. Also every high school and college cafeteria. There is nothing wrong with it. Did you ever wonder why regular hot dogs contain pork chicken and turkey but no beef. That beef goes to make fast food hamburgers and tacos. Nothing wrong with it.

They use real beef, cheapest cut of meat they can get, no steak.
