I'm not sure on that.. I will find out and get back to you... Here's a interesting ? To pose to a Muslim friend... I have a very good friend who's a Prince in Yemen .. As we were talking I asked him some ?'s... First he and Muslims beleive that ALL The men of the BIBLE AND QURAN WERE Prophets.. Abraham , Moses , JESUS. ECT.... So I asked him (1) question... I asked .."" We're any one of these men liars???"" He said ... "No" I said then u have a problem to figure out... He looked at me puzzled an curious... And said "what problem".. I said "If none were liars then why would Jesus say in John 14:6... Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6 NKJV) I finnaly said ... He's either a LIAR or he's telling the truth.. He got REALLY quiet
Deuteronomy 18:18 is speaking of Prophet Muhammad who is from the blood line of Kader, the second son of Ismael. Some Christians believe it was Jesus. That would make Jesus a Prophet just like Moses. However they reject this and say he is God or the son of God. It looks like some people are trying to have their cake and eat it.

Yes, it does. Christianity lets the Bible interpret itself, leading to the Prophet being Jesus. The context of that passage is clear and will lead to clear understanding. The passage is addressed to the 'children of Israel', meaning the children of Jacob, who had 12 sons that became the 12 tribes of Israel. (Jacob's name was changed by God to Israel (Genesis 32:28).
So in context, this "prophet" would come from "your brothers", one of the twelve brothers, who were all sons of Israel. Jesus Himself stated that Moses wrote of Him, that He was the fulfillment of Moses, psalms and prophets (Luke 24:27,44). Mary, the mother of Jesus and her husband Joseph, were both from the tribes of Israel.
And there is nothing that forbids the Son of God (a title) from having multiple titles. Of course, since Jesus came from Heaven, His every word is prophetic. Jesus is the ultimate Prophet, Priest and King. He is also Savior and Lord, risen from the dead.
He also is Judge, as Jesus said, "The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him."
