How do you get skunk smell off a cat?

They sell some stuff at pet supply stores, I think it is called Skunk Off and it works pretty good, the only problem is that you have to wash the cat, so get some nail clippers for cats while you are there. :)

LOL ;) lemon and or tomato juice be careful to not get it in your cats eye you might have to let the cat sit in the juice for a while and or do it more then once lol sorry for you&your kitty

Peroxide works also to help wash it out.

White vinegar, baking powder and peroxide mix shampoo. Yes you will have to bathe the cat Do not get it in his eyes and make sure you sry the ears as best as you can or your kitty may get an infection.

Here is THE solution as to what to do:
1 quart hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup baking soda
1 to 2 teaspoons of liquid soap

I've always heard tomato juice. Then wash with regular cat shampoo.

you could either go to pet smart and get some skunk off spray or you can soak it in tomato juice

Soak the cat in tomato juice for a while and then use some shampoo or soap and rinse it off with water.

NOTHING works better than skunk off. I work in a veterinary office and that is what we recommend. Simply wet the cat down, and massage it into their fur. Leave it on, don't rinse it off and let the cat air dry. Most veterinary offices will do it for you for the price of a bath.

wash it in hydrochloric acid lol you won't have a cat anymore but the smell will be gone! lol jk tomato juice bath will get that stench out. anything acidic

1 quart hydrogen peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and 1 teaspoon dish soap, used immediately. Use it all and work it into Fluffy's fur just like shampoo. Have some treats nearby to lessen the trauma.
