Is it possible to finish the original Dead Space with a fully upgraded plasma cutter and all the suit upgrades?

I think it would be possible to complete the Original Dead Space with a fully upgraded plasma cutter and suit upgrades. This is because a lot of challenges require you to get your way through to your destination and past a few enemies.

sure, if you buy a lot of nodes, never buy new weapon, and sell a lot, you should be able to. just pinch your pennies
