I would think so. I lost 40 pounds in three months by living off of Subway veggie patties and running about a half mile a day! I won't lie it was bootcamp!!! My goal was to look good in a year but because of my discipline it worked out three months.
That is a way to lose weight in a healthy way. Losing 20 pounds in a week like on the Biggest Loser isn't healthy. Be sure you are eating enough, but running is a good way to burn fat. A treat every once in a while is okay. It's normal, and it'll keep your blood sugar at a healthy level.

You have to cut on junk food,soda and eat healthy and drink lots of water for awhile if your out of shape. but still then when you get used to working out running etc. To lose weight try getting active play or workout or run around to help burn off fat you should be outside for at least an hour and you should have a routine maybe workout 6 days a week doing cardio and workin on abs all helps you get fit lose weight and be healthy also have lots of fiber in your diet ;)
