Could a boyfriend and a girlfriend in high school stay together forever?

I was in 9th grade. He was a senior and played football. I wore his ring and football jacket. That was 31 years and 4 kids ago. And we are still together. So YES it can happen.

BUT nothing is harder than going to nursing school with 3 little kids at home when your 25 years old. But it can be done with effort and prayer

It all depends on what occurs during the two's interactions through high school. Yes a boyfriend and a girlfriend in high school can stay together forever. They are called high school sweethearts.

Possibly but they have to have open communication with both members wanting to participate. There will be growth and changing as people age and participants will need to adapt and compromise. Desires at adolescence and into adulthood will evolve. Perhaps a solid good friendship is a potential goal but maybe with both wanting same thing.

It happens occasionally. Sometimes I meet couples who have been married 30+ years who say they were "high school sweethearts." However, I believe the vast majority of high school relationships end within a couple of years (including the ones I had) because--like it or not--most high school aged kids have a lot of growing up to do before they really know what they want in a relationship.

While almost anything is possible, there so many variables that are unknown and can happen. Therefore I'd say it is possible but highly unlikely. It would be like playing the lottery, it could happen but it's a very long shot.

Sure its possible! My husband and I have been together since we were 14 (were now 32) and we do not see an end in our future.

It happens but it's rare because people change a lot as they get older. Young marriages end in divorce at very high rates because of this, but not all do.

It is a good idea to mature then get back together around the age of 25. go to college, travel & experience being on your own with a full time job. Between 18 and 25 you will grow a lot.
