Is it meaningful to encourage women in poor areas to use affordable herbal cosmetics?

Is it meaningful to encourage women and girls in poor areas who suffer from chilblains and UV rays to use affordable handmade cosmetics such as those made out of herbs and other natural ingredients?

I'm a high school student who's interested in cosmetics and I am from a typical rural area in China.

Thanks for you if you can give answers or suggestions to my question, and it's definitely better if you can instruct me how to conduct my plan of encouraging women to use those cosmetics :)

If they are poor it is likely they cannot afford anything other than food. The only option would be to educate them to collect whatever was freely available. You could educate them on ways to gather herbs and create their own beneficial products, as long as it did not burden them financially in any way as they are already financially challenged. If its free and makes them feel good and helps them, then you've helped them solve a problem and that makes it meaningful!

As a matter of fact, I think it is a great idea. Egyptian princesses and girls are said to have been the most beautiful women in ancient times, and they never used any commercial stuff. They mainly used herbs like Aloe Vera, so I believe rural women can benefit from using herbal cosmetics. If you can show them that using herbal products works just as well as commercial stuff, you will have won the war.
