Be really careful with earaches - I had "swimmer's ear" which I got from showering - water got caught deep in the ear canal and an infection was born - super painful and I thought I was going deaf - it took 4 rounds of heavy duty antibiotics and a series of high pressure hydrogen peroxide lavage treatments to finally kill the infection. In the process - the antibiotics killed off much of my digestive gut bacteria - which meant I couldn't digest food - I then had to be re-infused with these digestive symbiotes using pro-biotics. If you're getting pain - see an MD quick.
Put a heat bag on your ear or try taking advil or aleve to help with the pain. If it doesn't go away soon you should probably get it checked with your doctor because you could have an ear infection and its not good to leave it. Hope you feel better :)
You can use sweet oil, warm it up and take a dropper , put about 2-3 drops in ear. You can also use warm milk, by warming to luke warm ,using a tsp. put a 1/4 tsp.or maybe less in ear. Put a piece of cotton in the ear cavity. Make sure you tip your head side ways to apply the warm milk so that it go all the way down inside the ear.
My mom always used sweet oil on us. she would warm it just a bit as to not burn the ear canal and stuff a cotton ball in to hold the oil in it always felt sooooooo good! If you have excess earwax go to any healthfood store and get the beeswax candles and use as directed works like a charm!
