My aunt wants to buy her 12 year old daughter her first phone, whats a good phone for a 12 year old?

I think a Samsung Smooth is pretty good for a 12 year old. You can get one for about $75 or less. It has Bluetooth, a camera and Web browser so she can use the internet and share lots of photos. I got an iPhone 4 for my 12th birthday maybe try something a little less expensive though

I'd start with a flip phone and see if she has the responsibility to take care of it. A 12 year old don't need much more than that in my opinion!

If you go to best buy you can get an AT&T Xpression which is red so it's has a color which is what most 12 year olds like. You can go on the Internet for extra though and you can easily get to texts and make calls. It does not have any games unless you go on the Internet which again costs money
