Do you need an agent to get into the modeling/acting business? And do you have to pay for an agent?

Its under misc cuz I don't know what category to put it under. Just wondering...

It is recommended to have an agent when you get into modeling or acting business. You have to pay for an agent. However, an agent normally charges 10% to 15% of everything you make in the modeling or acting career.

Your agent is the person who gets you the contracts. The agent is the up front person and usually takes 15%off the top. Your photography portfolio can add up....
