What is *67 used for

Report as

*67 is a code you dial on your phone (typically landlines) when you want to block out your number before calling someone. The other person's Caller ID will show up as Anonymous or Unidentified or a host of other things, depending on how your phone company sets it up.

To use it, simply pick up your handset, dial *67, wait for the beep, then dial the number.

Prank calling people. It will pop up on their phone "restricted number" or something instead of saying your name, or leaving any trace that the call came from your phone
