Hi itzallabtU, drinking water will only make the problem worse as it "floats" the acid. A home remedy to try is to take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, the extra acid actually causes the pumps in your stomach to stop producing acid because it realizes there is too much. If this doesn't work you need purchase an over the counter proton pump inhibitor, like Omeprazole (Prilosec) and take it every day for 14 days to see if it will take care of the problem, if this doesn't do the trick consult your doctor :)
Esophageal well known as heartburn is a common disease caused by high accumulation of acids in spices. The best thing to do is to stay upright, avoid bending over after a meal and do not lie down. Secondly, you should take high volumes of water or you can take easing tea. Don't forget to drink vegetable juice. If symptoms persist, it is advisable you to visit your nearest doctor.
