If I dyed my hair with food coloring, how long would it stay in?

I once dyed my hair with kool aid and I couldn't get it out for the life of me. I couldn't bleach it out. I have blonde hair and I dyed it bright red underneath. I tried dying it brown and it turned maroon, I had to cover it with black then I stripped the black out and the red was still there, it was more orange though. That same happened to my friend. If you do it right, Kool aid and stay until it grows out or gets cut off. She had purple with brown hair. If your interested, I'll give you the details about how to dye your hair with kool aid. food dye will come out very soon.

I wanted something more fun like food coloring or something like that, not like spray on stuff cause thats boring, and i wanted something that would stay in for a couples days, and i have blonde hair too so yea...:)

I have dark brown hair, how do i get koolaid to stay in?

I would dye it a lighter color first, i would go with a blonde, and all I did was just mix a pack of koolaid with some conditioner and it lasted 4 months.

My sister has dark brown hair and i tryed dyeing her hair with some of the koolaid stuff, and it didnt really show

Pour two kool aid packets in a cup, microwave it for 2 minutes, no sugar but you could put a cap ful of vinegar in it to help stay. Mix. soak your hair in the glass for about 5-10 minutes, put aluminum foil on it until it's mostly dry or for about 30 minutes, blow dry it. Wash it out in a couple of hours, but don't srcub hard. Some color will come out and that's normal. It'll be sticky and kool aid stains so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and use an old towel around where your soaking your hair so it doesn't stain the surface. If you are doing a big chunck I suggest that you separate it or it won't reach your roots. Good luck:)

probably not that long..koolaid stays for a couple days :D

I dyed my hair with koolaid once and it stayed in for like 4 months, and i just wanted to dye my hair with something that wouldnt stay in that long.

really?! howed you do it? i tried it with somepeople and the longest it lasted for anyof us was like 4days.

2 packs of kool-aid and some 1 cup of conditioner and i left it in for 12 hours

Since most food colorings are naturally-derived, they typically wash out in a few days. Synthetic food coloring may stay in longer, but natural food coloring will stay in hair for one to three washings. Read on from www.ehow.com/info_10051429_long-food-coloring-stay-hair.html.
