How do you get smudge marks off of vinyl shoes?

I bought some cute wedge vinyl shoes on sale. There are smudge marks that look like grease on the heals. Is there a way to get that off?

Use a soft cloth as well as elbow grease after removing any loose particles of dirt into the shoe. Clean with leather cleaner and mostly with vinyl shoes, it is advised to use something simple like furniture polish as your cleaner. Smudge marks on heels can be possibly removed with a hair spray.
