There is no evidence to suggest that a god or gods exist in any way outside of the believers head. Everyone is an atheist to all the gods that mankind has ever believed in, some people just go one god further. They are a primitive attempt to understand the world.

Just remember these are starting points. As you study you will find arguments, counter arguments, and counter arguments for the counter arguments. Ultimately, there is an element of faith. But faith is not a bad thing, nor is it limited to religion. Faith encompasses all aspects of human life. Even in science we do not accept absolutes. So, it is normal to get discouraged during our studies, and question ourselves. It is at these times we must remember all of our findings, and how the Lord has blessed us with our own miracles in our lives. Why not ask Him directly if he exists? Spend some serious time in pray and contemplation, asking to feel his spirit. If you get a response you will have a personal testimony no one can take away from you.

Well, think about it. Who created the earth and everyone on it? I don't personally believe an explosion came out of nowhere and we were magically created. And think about the bible. It has survived thousands of years and many people believe in it. It's really up to you but I believe in God.
