Why can't I sign in on my YouTube app for my iPod touch third generation?

I had the same thing happen. I signed in on my computer and it worked so I completely turned off my iPod and turned it back on and I signed in and it worked

You can sign in on the iPod touch fourth generation

You might need to update the iPod software by plugging it into your computer, or update the app itself.

I can't sign into mine either on my 4g either.I guess I have to remove it and reapply it

all i did was go to the app store and type in youtube and it will come up with the logo for utube and it worked
