Why do I hear my name being whispered repetitively all the time?

I guess no one knows the answer to that question, huh?

Does the voice use your full name, including middle name? Is it audible to others, or only you?
Auditory hallucinations occur in people with mental disorders and certain physical disorders. Stress can induce a brief period of such, but repeated auditory hallucinations should be an indication that something is not right in Denmark. I advise a consult with a physician or psychologist, especially of there are other symptoms.

It might be stress, or something. If it continues you may wanna address the situation with your doctor.

For me it's natural to hear voices but I never sought a reason for them. Depending on your beliefs it could be any number of things.

I know that ghosts are among us, that's for sure. They're trying to guide us, or to warn us about something! Right or wrong? Or in other cases, to haunt us!

There are beings called The Fallen Angels that took the leap with Satan to Earth. They are amongst us in the spirit world. They are not for your good they are here to torment us. If you continually hear these voices I would say find a pastor of a church that believes in what I am telling you, preferably a Pentecostal church.

But it doesn't sound threatening to me at all, it sounds more like a desperate voice trying to reach out for me, trying to guide me or warn me about something. It could be about hurting myself unintentionally! It clearly sounds like a female voice though, probably my grandma's voice who past away like 3 years ago! The strangest thing about it is that it's coming from next door, where they have roosters? And every time they chirp or sing, forgot what it's called, I hear it whispering my name "peeedrooooo!!!" Nobody else can hear it but me!!! Strange, huh? Even I don't know what to believe anymore!
