ADHD is the name. Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder.
Its a fairly common sensory/psych disorder.
From web site: Kids with ADHD act without thinking, are hyperactive, and have trouble focusing. They may understand what's expected of them but have trouble following through because they can't sit still, pay attention, or attend to details.
Of course, all kids (especially younger ones) act this way at times, particularly when they're anxious or excited. But the difference with ADHD is that symptoms are present over a longer period of time and occur in different settings. They impair a child's ability to function socially, academically, and at home.

ADHD is a problem with inattentiveness, over-activity, impulsivity, or a combination of the activities. It is known to be in children, who 3 ? 5% are school aged children. It is also know to be as a result of inheritance, where no one knows what causes it.

I have that, and it usually means it's harder for the kid to focus on things and they sometimes wander off and get distracted. But it doesn't mean the kid can't be smart. I have all A's in school and I have ADHD. Take it from another person with experience! XD

It means Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. This means that he will be a little more hyperactive then usual people, impulsive behavior, and possibly have a lower attention span. It's not terrible though. My best friend has ADHD and he is one of the friendliest people I know. :)

All four year olds have ADHD. It doesn't need to be treated until it becomes a problem in school.
