Can I sue if I broke my arm when I slipped on ice at a cabin in big bear even though we signed a waiver?

No. Why does everyone wanna sue these days!? Okay not trying to be rude, but it's not like they pushed you down! Smh

Oh no don't get me wrong - I have never sued anyone. They had lights stringed up and I wanted to plug them in. When I went to do so I slipped on ice and broke my arm in two places. It has cost me over $2000 for medical bills and therapy. I just wanted to see if I could get reimbursed for that - nothing more.

I understand. I wasn't being rude by no means. But no, you won't be able to. You can an attorney but I can just about say once you say waiver they're going to say sorry we can't take your case.

I'm pretty sure you can't sue if you signed a waiver... because that's the whole point of a waiver...

Thanks! That's what I kinda figured but thought I'd ask if there was some loophole.

Well actually, I wouldn't really know. I'm not that into "legal" stuff. I'm only 14 xD

Unknown to most people signing a waiver doesn't absolve the property owner of liability if they do not take reasonable care to avoid injuries.
