Because you didn't have to stand over the stove smelling it for an hour and a half before it was presented to you... and you usually don't have to dread doing the clean up afterwards!

I didn't... I have some soaking right now. I love fried green tomatoes for breakfast, but I don't recommend leaving the frying pan sit all day long!
Report as

Yea, the best part is getting worn out from all the preparing, peeling, marinading, grilling so you just throw everything into the fridge, and collapse. Then nuke it later. Oh.... Then the clean up.

For me, A meal tastes much better when a hot lookin' babe makes it. Sorry, I know it's sexist, but at least I'm honest.

My guess is that you do most of the cooking most of the time. It's such a treat for you when someone else does it that you appreciate it all the more.

It depends. If their cooking tastes like dog food & full of veggies, you won't see me eating it no matter how long they spent cooking it.
