Besides sunshine and vitamins, what are some ways that can can get more Vitamin D?

Going out into the sun is a very good way. Although you should wear sunscreen as to block the harmful UV rays.

I live in the northeastern part of the United States. I take 1000iu of Vitamin D twice a day in the winter and get at least 20 minutes of sun a day in the spring in summer (omit the pill at this time).
Vitamin D also helps your body absorb Calcium more effectivly
