Hey, they arent hidden. Obama and the IRS have em, know all about em, and if there was anything illegal, Holder would have him before the Tax courts in a new York second. If there isn't anything illegal, shut up.
If there is, arrest him.

When Obama ran for president, he released exactly 2 years of tax returns, and so did McCain. It was enough then, it should be enough now, don't you think?
Don't get me started about offshore accounts: Obama's inner circle (Valerie Jarrett, etc) all have em, and if it's illegal, it's news to us all. This argument is so stupid as to beg us to kick Obama just for using it.

Most of the answers on here have been focused on how the ONLY reason people wouldn't like his tax returns is if there was something illegal on them. And since he's not in court (like bringing spoiled rich boys to trial is easy...) there must be nothing he's hiding. Just......endless claims that they won't release them, much to the general public's chagrin. Sounds shady to me.

As a person involved in the hiring process in the private sector, I want to know as much as possible before I commit to hire someone. What I hire for is no where near as important as the presidency, so I can understand the question.

True. But a president should be put through ever bit of scrutiny that is practical. Especially if it seems some "oddities" exist, which in this case seems possible. It's obvious there is no crime involved and if all is above board he could turn it on obama and make him look the fool, so it suggest to me there may be some "shady" intel that he doe's not wish known. Just say'n.

Isn't it odd to you that Obama has only released forged Certificate's of Live Birth and is refusing to release any school records, passport info and numerous other information about his past? Sinse he is the current president, I would prefer he is vetted as to if he is even qualified to be holding this office. But all we get is crickets.....

Romney provided 23 years of tax returns to McCain in 2008 as part of the vetting process. McCain said nothing disqualifying was found. This is why it is not getting any traction. Two years should be the standard, unless there are illegalities found.

That was a very informative, thank you! Man I wish he was running now (McCain) he is an awesome American and actually thinks for himself. Not to informed on Feingold but that would be an excellent ticket, It would bring people on both sides back together again to solve the problems this nation is going through instead of "towing the party line" but oh well, we've got what we've got. :/

Obama will not turn over documents in the investigation of a murder of a U.S. border agent. That is much more troubling to me. Got to love the "Obama Transparency" otherwise known as extremely opaque.

Second, there wasn't a huge issue with Obama's tax history, was there? Not like there is with Vulture America Hater Romney. People weren't suspicious of Obama's financial past. But people are suspicious of Romney's, and I think the longer he goes without releasing them, the stranger it will seem. To me, it must be in Romney's better interest NOT to release them, otherwise he would put an end to the political damage and release them. So what could possibly be in there?

Probably less than Obama for hiding "Fast and Furious" documents. That could reveal a murder at the hands of Washington. I think he is using "Obama Transparency" there. Which in layman's terms is very opaque.
