How do people get boils and how do they get rid of them? And how do you prevent getting them.

My mom has one. I've never seen one except for in cartoons.

It's like a big pimple, only not on your face, they feel warm to the touch and they really hurt. The best way to get rid of it is to pop it in the shower with plenty of soap and water and squeeze the grossness out, then apply a topical anti biotic like erythromiacin. I wish I knew how to prevent them cause they suck right out loud. Just one of life's little inconviences.

Thank you. It sucks you can't prevent them. I don't think I could pop it. I'll probably get grossed out. lol :)
