How long does it take to drive from boston to new york?

im going to new york and drive to boston doh!!!

It depends what part of NY your going to. If your going to NYC it would take about 4 hours to Manhattan & Queens 4.5 hours to Brooklyn where I live & about 5 hours to Staten Island. It's about a 230 mile trip. Staten Island would be about 240 miles.

It would take about 3.5 hours to the Bronx & about 3 hours to Westchester County.

About three to four hours depending on traffic on the pike.

It takes much longer during rush hour, weekends and holidays! Took us 6 hours to get to Boston and 8 hours to get home! (I live next to NYC)

Depends on what you take. If you take I-95 the whole way, it could be extremely long with traffic through major cities, and during weekends and holidays that is worse, so I say 6-8 hours on I-95. If you drive through Hartford and into Central Mass instead of I-95, it can take just as long, but more like 3-5 hours.
