First, you need to get a good dye like L'Oreal, which would be good. You need to make sure it is the color that you want to use. For more information, go to http://offbeathome.com/2011/11/an-incredibly-detailed-guide-to-dying-your-hair-red-with-henna

Just for fun my sisters and I used red koolaid. If you want the red to last long use hot water if you don't then use cold.

You should do it Cat from Victorious on nickelodeon, style! She dyes her hair red with an organic velvet hair coloring. To find this I think you should go to Whole Foods or Trader Joes But she has to dye it bright red with the same coloring every week to maintain the pretty, bright, fun color.

Yes. Let your hair get very dirty before coloring. Use a red color by Redken. They tend to have a great selection of reds! Leave color on 10 to 15 minutes longer than the instructions say. Make sure to saturate your hair completely and do your eyebrows if you want it to look natural. After coloring do your final rinse in COLD water. Also, wait as long as possible before washing your hair the first time after coloring and wash with a shampoo with no sulfites, which can strip color and dry hair out. Keep hair well-conditioned!

Make sure you natural hair colour isn't to different. My sister had blond hair and dyed it a mahogany red, when she wanted to go back blonde, it went orange

use a website online that allows you to upload a pic of yourself and virtually changes you hair color first. then if you like how it looks then go and die it.
