Somebody please help me. I think I had an out of body experience but I'm not sure.

(Remember, at this time I was very frustrated, stressed, and becoming harmful to myself) A few months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night. I do not clearly know what woke me up. In my possibly O.B.E. I was looking down on the hall (birds eye view) and I heard loud noises. I was then in my room looking at myself, asleep. During this whole time my physical body felt empty.
Is this a very odd dream--just my mind playing games? Or is this an O.B.E.? Please help, all (appropriate and nice) comments are highly appreciated!

If you experienced all these things after you woke up you had a very vivid dream. Sometimes when we are overtired, when we go to bed we experience very strange dreams. Depending on how tired we really are sometimes we think we are awake, but can't move. The best thing to do is go back to sleep. Sleep well.

Thank you very much, this really helps. However (once again) some research claims that OBE's are concious astral projection. I guess we'll find out. Thank you so much though!

I'm guessing it was a dream since you heard loud noises. Because you wouldn't have ears in an outer body experience I am guessing.
