What is the best way to get rid of split ends without having to buy a special creme or shampoo?

my hair is naturally curly and lately I have been straightening it a lot, so just recently I noticed it have split ends! noo! I stopped using my straighten for about two months now and I still have split ends. any tips?

The best way to get rid of the split ends it to get a trim and cut the split ends off, this is really the only way to get rid of them. Split ends are just dead hair, you don't need to take much off just a centimeter or two depending on your split ends.
