I think you can dig as much as you want. But you won't be able to reach the center of the Earth. So I dont think it matters whether you own it all the way to the center of the Earth.
But I wonder if you actually do own it. Hmm.....good question.

The truth is that it's not your land even if you buy it. The reality is that you payed an institution of thugs to insist that it is your land to everyone else. They can do whatever they like with it though because the organization is bound not even by it's own laws; the only authority above them is a greater force of which there is none.

As a matter of fact you do,you also own the mineral rights and you also own the space above your land into deep space.

You do own the space above your land but only to a certain height. I think it's a mile. This is so commercial airlines and satellites and such don't need permission to fly directly over your land.

You ever heard the term "undermine" or "undermining". It's from company's digging under people's property. Most of the time home owners are powerless to stop them.

Company's do this but I'm pretty sure it's illegal unless they obtain the mineral rights. But I could be mistaken.
