In their a place called "Alam e Barzak" where they've been told whether they are going to heaven or hell. So if they're going to heaven, they can enjoy their time in their there where they'll be waiting for the end of the world so they can go to heaven. They're also being rewarded with many things while they wait.Those who will go to hell have already started being punished while they wait there for the end of the world, not that their excited about it.

Oh yah......barzak. I accidentally wrote grave. but in barzak, they are told whether they will go to heaven or hell.

The angels ask them the three questions and if they were good, they wont worry because they'll know that they'll be going to heaven.

Well, ilm is a lot. No human can have that much knowledge. So we all have little knowledge. Some have more knowledge than others.

No, actually, it isnt Barzak, our souls are in barzak before we're born. After we die, they stay in our graves until the end of the world. Because there are several hadith in which Prophet Mohammad talked about azab e kabar. the punishment bad ppl get in their graves. thanks for confusing me. Lol!

well,horse I recommend you to search for it.. Alam-e-Barzakh is a place where all deceased souls rest until the Day of Resurrection..http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080721195515AAyQwnR..it is just a random stuff from internet,everyone has the same theory..hope your confusion ends :)

ghori, I dont really take my info from the internet, especially when it comes to religion. it isn't reliable. I study at a madarsa every weekend. I have been since 7 or 8 years. And unless I have forgotten, which i dont think I have, their soul stays in their grave. If they're good, their grave becomes huge for them. they can smell the beautiful smells of heaven and eat the delicious food from there.if they're bad, then the opposite. At the day of judgement, those who have good deeds and bad deeds, both equal, they wait in Alam e Barzak. Then Allah forgives them and they go to heaven.

There are plenty of ahadith in which prophet Mohammad (pbuh) talked about the punishments souls will get in their graves. And on the day of judgement, through Allah's command, those souls (good and bad) will rise from their graves and go wherever they are supposed to go.

@Nickcoolism.I wrote that when a person dies, his or her souls gets punished or rewarded, depending on their good and bad deeds, while they wait for the end of the world and the day of judgement when they will actually go to their destinations. Heaven or hell.

I wrote grave first. then you came up and told me it's Alam e Barzak. So i changed it. Then I realized that what you said is wrong.
So now I'm not confused. I know it's the grave where a dead persons soul stays until the day of Judgement.

At the day of Judgement, after everyone has gone to their destinations, those who have both bad deeds and good deeds equally, wait in Alam e Barzak for a while. That's different then waiting there until the end of the world.

They are awaiting gods day of judgement. Either they are in a nice marble jar cremated or they are being eaten and used as fertilizer.
