How do I scan multiple pages into a single PDF file with a Canon mx430 wireless printer/scanner?

My last printer was set to scan as pdf and would scan each page and then open them into a single PDF file... Just got this canon and it scans each page and brings up each page in a separate pdf file... I need all docs in one file and don't know how to change settings on printer to do this? I can't seem to find any settings that allow for it... Adobe Acrobat has this option to merge files once I've scanned them all individually but I can't afford to purchase-- I just have adobe reader...
Any suggestions?

To scan multiple pages into a single PDF file with a Canon MX430 Wireless Printer, you need to open the "Solution Center". Then, click on "Settings" and select "Scan Settings". Click on "Scan Preferences" to make sure that the "Prompt for additional scans" has a checkmark. Finally, click "OK " to save the changes made.

Wonderful! Unfortunately I can't seem to find "scanner settings".
When I open my canon solution menu ex, and go under "manuals & settings" all my options are: "on screen manual, diagnos & repair printer, speed dial settings, network settings, quiet settings & ink model number"
Nothing about scan settings... The only option under scan is auto scan.. It's what it's set on and I can't seem to find a way to change any preferences...

Goto MP Navigator and on the left side menu bar, choose PDF (comes in as 2 up arrows)
Here you can add scanned files to one pdf file from the Create/Edit pdf files option
