Bees are swarm behind my side mounted porch light over the door . I've sprayed the area at night and AM. No decrease. May I
ignore them?

I don't think you should ignore them before they are completely over. You need to continuously spray the area to prevent any harm. Alternatively, you can consult a person specialized in getting rid of bees at homes to help you.

If the bees are bothering you so much then try to find a a bee trap (yes they make them) I have one and it got rid of the bees in my front yard!

Hit it with a hose after dark. Or knock it down with a stick.

NO!First check to see if they are honey bees and if so call a bee person to remove them. if you can't tell, call the bee man to check. if they aren't, use starting fluid. the ether will kill them. then remove your light fixture and spray it in the mounting and in the wall--they very likely have a nest in there. don't breath the fumes as they can knock you out! i have seen 10 foot nests in walls requiring siding being removed b/c of honey bees. but you don't want to kill them b/c we need them and their population is dwindling seriously right now. so find out FIRST what kind you have. you may have to pray for several days as hunters will be out gathering food and returning to the nest at different times. when they are all dead, caulk the opening so they can't re-infest.

If its in the wall, absolutely. If its a new colony,I say just get rid of them.

but if they are honey bees please seek relocation! there have been great studies showing the loss of our honey bee populations which pollinate our crops, wild flowers, trees and more.
