Is there anyway to see who all has lived at certain address in the last 5years or so? I ask this cause, recently someone's been using my

address for student loans. Now they have bills coming to my house from their college and for their student loans. We (husband & I) bought our home in 2009. All of sudden in the last 6-8 months I've been getting these bills for this woman here. I called the college today and Fedloan and they both said she went online and locked our address in. I'm worried this will affect me at tax time. Both places asked me several times if I knew her. I don't. So, is there anyway I can find out whose used my address and possibly what her real address is??

One simple way to find out who has been living in your house for the last 5 years is by visiting the planning agency of the municipal authority in your area. Inquire in the office that issues building permits, assesses property taxes or records home sales. Any of the mentioned offices should have public records pertaining to your house. Alternatively, you can also look at surveyor maps to see if anything had been added or demolished. For more information, visit http://www.wikihow.com/Research-the-History-of-Your-House.

Thank you. I know the name of the guy we bought off of. And I know he was single. Like I said I have been here now over 3 years. And all of a sudden I'm getting this stuff for her.
Would it tell me even if someone rented here before we bought it and the previous owner? The house was built in 2005 so I think she's just "using" our address. Before the house was built our land was a car lot and before that a school. So I know she really never lived here. The only way is if she rented here before the guy we bought the house from. He never rented it out like us.
Also do you know, is it true those creditors can make us responsible for those? I was told they'll flag my property taxes. How true is that?? I'm really lost and unsure

For starters...... How do you know what is in the mail??? Illegal for you to open unless its in your name.
Second.... if it is not in your name your not responsible for the bill.

Because the letter says the return address is Fedloan. Looked it up online it's a student loan
The other bill that came is from a local college- I never opened it up.
I called both places, because I keep getting it and returning it stating on the envelope "no such person at this address"
So again no I've never opened her mail
Secondly I called both places today. Both told me she went online and locked our address in and there's no way Fedloan nor the college can change it. Why? I dunno. But they said she is getting bills here. I'm not dumb enough to open anyone mail. I just think its uncool to defraud companies you owe money too and use a bogus address to hide from them. Not cool at all!!!!

I would just keep returning them as frustrating as that will get. If you can try to track her down on the internet maybe you could turn her in yourself. I dont know.

Yeah, I talked to both places and they told me to keep returning them. I'm hoping me contacting them helped too. I looked her up on Facebook, she actually has 3 mutual friends of mine. I was going to confront her threw email, but was informed by a 17 year postal worker I need to report her to the fraud department. Guess its a federal crime to use an address you don't reside at. They said they'll investigate her. So, that's what I'm doing. I don't want no trouble at my front door since she knows my address. I'll let them handle her
