when Adam and Eve ate that apple sin and death entered the world and because of that the beautiful world God made is dying and we are of the world so though the years people haven't live as long because we are dying...i'm not a good explainer so if you don't understand just ask
In my opinion, the world has changed due to the introduction of technology, which has brought about numerous advancements. The reason that we are not able to live up to 900 years old is because it was not destined that way.
No one has lived that long since not too long after Noah. Even by Christs time the average life expectancy was only 40-50 years old. Those long life expectancies were for a specific period of time in order to populate the earth. As for how the earth is - humans used free will to let sin into the world and with it came death, suffering and all manner of evil.
No one ever lived that long. They didn't have written records back in those old forgotten times. So someone hears about Timmy's grandpa, who lived a really, really long time. Something like FIFTY years! (Quite the feat for back then). And then word of mouth carries it further and further away from the source and from reality, and a legend is born. The Legend of Timmy's Grandfather, who was 950 years old when he died!
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12 KJV)=================================Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are. Against its will, all creation was subjected to God?s curse. But with eager hope, the creation looks forward to the day when it will join God?s children in glorious freedom from death and decay. For we know that all creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us. We were given this hope when we were saved. (If we already have something, we don?t need to hope for it. But if we look forward to something we don?t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.) (Romans 8:18-25 NLT)
A book called: "The Four Agreements" By Juan Miguel Ruiz. Also on YouTube in audio book form gives one of the best explanations on how all the world became what it is. It also refers to in this book. " Biblical Entries". Part one and two describes the dream of the planet and everything we have been taught. Then he goes into the four agreements that you make with yourself to live a form of heaven on earth. It's quite enlightening and I think you will enjoy it. I Have a Personal Theory Concerning Longevity Or Living Longer. During the days of the Old Testament food and drinking water was not readily available and had to be hunted or fetched. I believe that man women and child all drank mothers milk probably throughout their lives. Breastmilk was readily available especially when a man could have many wives and those wives could have many children. I believe the men of these women including the women would continue to drink breast milk throughout their lives and lived many years longer because of it.
