What is metaphor i can use in my song?

okay, so i am trying to write a song and i am having trouble with the next part. here it is so far
i"ll be your crutch when you can't stand/ i'll be the one to hold your hand/ i'll be the one to lead you through the dark and hopeless neverland
i need another metaphor like the crutch one to start off the next part.
please help! thanks! :)

Probably it could be when tears feel your eyes and you feel stumbled just look up make sure you candle is lighting in the dark. A metaphor is a form of speech where a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.

"I'll elevate you from this pit"? Or something along the lines of that? Maybe "I'll make a mountain in this lost plain"? (A plain is a very flat land.)

By the way, I love making music, too. It's nice to meet someone who has the same interest!

this is the first time i've really written a legit song. i write poetry and i thought it couldnt be too much different. but i do looove singing and playing tha piano so it is nice to meet a fellow musician. what kind of music do you listen too. oh and i like the metaphor thanks!

I love to play piano, too, and I'm thinking about starting to sing. I get 95% of my inspiration from Coldplay and with the rate I'm at, some day I'm going to know how to play on piano every song possible by them. I'm also trying to compose music for my life career. What about you?

im actually really confused when it comes to my future. i dont know if i should pursue a career in music because it's a really hard business as you probably know. i never thought i could be a musician because i always had a hard time writing songs and being original, but i'm trying my hardest right now and i'm just going with the flow for now. btw my all time FAVORITE band is My Chemical Romance!!!!

I thought I would never be able to compose music until I thought back at when I used to make home videos and all my friends thought I was a musical genius with the soundtrack. I also get almost all of my inspiration from my favorite band. I'm just suggesting things here.

"I'll be the sun that warms your face/I'll be your heart's saving grace/I'll be the wind that guides your path/Souls bound together eternally/Take my hand and walk with me"... :) P.S. working title suggestion: "Walk With Me".
