How do you check someone's criminal background record?

To check for someone's criminal background record, first visit the Criminal Searches website. Enter the person's first and last name in the correct boxes but do not add a middle initial in the "First Name" box. Add the state where you want to look for, or you can choose to leave the state blank if you're uncertain. Click "Search."
