Is this a good idea?

Here's the thing, I've been wanting to enter this one beauty pageant for almost a year and have been working hard to get to reach my goal... entering a beauty pageant. Every time I ask my parents, they say no! I've tried everything to writing an essay, to getting help from friends. I'm earning my own money to buy a dress and all that fun stuff... but my parents still won't let me! Should I just give up on my dream?

follow your dreams and they will come true. mine take awhile.like when i was way young i wanted a bmw. well now i have one of that same year that i wanted one. its broke down tho.but whateve. :)

try to prove your dedication towards this... your parents will not stop you. they just don't want to see you heart broken ...
