What are good plants to attract butterflies? My granddaughter loves them and I'd love for her to see more. Thanks.

A butterfly garden is simply a flower garden that is designed to include nectar-rich flowers that butterflies love to visit. Some may include blazing star, swamp milkweed and Queen Anne's lace. For more information, visit http://www.mortonarb.org/?option=com_content&view=article&id=889&Itemid=6.

Some of the plants that butterflies are attracted to are petunias, zinnias, and the butterfly bush. You need to remember butterflies love the sunshine, so plant in the sunniest area possible. Good luck!!

Found that little diddy for ya :) I don't know where more of these places are, but my sister went and visited the Butterfly House in Canada. It's not named the Butterfly House, but I can't think of the name right now, it's kind of near Niagara Falls.

Some of the plants are considered "weeds." Monarch butterflies seem to love milkweed, and swallowtail butterflies like thistle... and... yeah, that's all I've got!!
