I've seen it happen many times as long as the cat is brought up with the rabbit when it's a kitten. In rare cases an adult cat will get along with a rabbit also

Not normally but they could if they are trained right. I used to have a rabbit that lived in a cage outside and all the outdoor cats would try to hurt my bunny

Yes but they need supervision we had a rabbit and 2 cats growing up they got along but took time for the cats to warm up to the rabbit. Our one cat used to even open the cage door up when we weren't home and we would find them sleeping together in the cats bed, but that's not always the case for all cats some will always view the rabbit at food.

no dont try to put a cat and a rabbit together. one day you might not be watching and Kitty wont need dinner that day. This happened to my sister when she was younger and she has never forgotten it.

Yes if you raise the cat around the rabbit they will actually cuddle with each other. It's so fun to watch.
