So when your referring to mileage on a car like "oh it only had so and so miles on it" ..what's good& what's bad mileage?

It really depends on the year of the car, make and model, and how well the previous owner took care of the car. You might find a car that has well over 100,000 miles on it but was taken great care of and will continue to be a great car as long as you take care of it. On the other hand you might find a car that only has 50,000 miles on it but the owner treated it like crap so it's not gonna last much longer.

Over a hundred thousand is getting pretty high. Anything under a hundred thousand is still pretty fresh

Anything over 100k miles is really high. You should check for anything that are under 50k.

Depending on the vehicle.. You should ask for a maintenance record for the vehicle in question. Some cars are made for traveling, so it can withstand high mileage IF it's taken care of.. GL

Think average 12k a year on a car... Figure the year of the car... Do the math... If it's significantly higher, don't get the car.
