Is my cat jealous?

A neighborhood cat comes in our yard and it's really sweet. But it's really skinny so sometimes we feed it and pet it. Sometimes my cat is outside with it too. Every time I pet my cat lately she is mean and hisses at me. What do it do?

Cats are often cantankerous, no big deal and not too worry .. She will love you up at feeding time.

Maybe your cat smells the other cat on you, and thinks the other cat is encroaching on its territory. So wash your hands after petting the other cat.
Also give your extra love and attention.
