Well..a kindle and a nook are pretty much the same thing.
The kindle is a little nicer though. c; especially the kindle fire, which plays music, produces books, and has internet connection.
The ipad is made my Apple.
The ipad (in my opinion) is a LOT nicer than the others listed.
It has great graphics, provides books, music, internet connection, tons of apps (like the kindle fire), and the newer ones have cameras too. c;

Kindles and Nooks are mainly for reading books and downloading and you can basically do anything on an iPad <3

The difference between a Kindle, Nook and iPad is Kindle and Nook are hardware readers while iPad is a tablet. IPad can be used to access Kindle and Nook books. Visit http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-20009738-1/kindle-vs-nook-vs-ipad-which-e-book-reader-should-you-buy/ for more details.
