Some women are self conscious about their age so they tend to fudge a little. When they are under 18 they tend to move it upwards. When they are over 18 they tend to move it downward. It's just one of those things that women do. I wouldn't worry about it. If you like her then don't question your good fortune.
Mayb e she likes you and thought if she told you her real age you would be scared that you couldnt handle a 24 year young woman and maybe she has a kickstand bigger than yours .

At least she came clean and was honest w/you. She thought that you might "go away" because of that. I wouldn't be mad, but rather, understanding. At your age, 5 years difference is quite a bit, and we all know that boys/men mature later...

I think she really likes you and she was just scared to tell you her real age because she maybe thought you wouldnt want to hang out with her knowing her real age!
She most likely lied to you in the first place because she thought that the age difference would have bothered you. If I were in your position, I would be really upset that she lied to me. Honesty is what builds a sturdy, and nice relationship. If she's lying to you about her age, just think of what else she'll lie to you about in the future.
That's a red flag doll...she lied right out of the gate...she said she was 18 because she knows that @ 24 yrs old she should be dating someone her age or older and was afraid to tell you in case you weren't interested. However, you should tell her that her age didn't turn you off, but the fact that she easily lies is...Do yourself a favor and move on from this one...Peace

I think she just thought you would think she was to old for you . she probably didn't tell you cause she wanted you to get to know her and like her for her not her age . I'm 22 & probably would have lied if I liked a younger guy.
Age doesn't matter, but she might've thought she was too old for you, but she really liked you, so maybe she wanted you to get to know her first..
