I'm a hair stylist and will try to help. First you need to buy a lice treatment kit from a drug store. They also sell a spray for furniture that you will need. Use the treatment and make sure to work it through well and leave on long enough. After that use the comb to get all the nits out (you'll need help on your own head). Make sure to throw the comb away.
You will also need to spray all furniture or any fabric they could be hiding in. Take all sheets, pillows, towels, stuffed animals and clothes that have been worn and wash them in hot water. You will also need to dry them on the high heat setting. Spray the mattresses with the treatment spray as soon as you get all the bedding off.
Sorry to inform you of all the work it takes to get rid of them. It does take time, but at least they will be gone! Good luck!!!
As a professional hairstylist I will try to answer your question the best I can. I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. You should use the comb until you see no more nits. After your bout with the lice, throw away the comb.
Pharmacists can recommend an over the counter shampoo and directions. The comb is an aid not a solution. It is also an environmental problem, in which, the pharmacists can explain. Much time and effort is needed to eradicate. Good luck!
