What happens when your smoke alarm acts crazy but there's no sign of a fire anywhere?

The smoke alarm keep going off every 2 seconds and it goes off. Me and my parent don't see any physical sign of a fire. Is it a battery problem or something more serious?

Change the battery and see if it persists. If it does see if the detector detects more than fires because some detect carbon monoxide and if it does, call a fire department to come check it out.

A battery problem, mine does the same thing when the battery's dead or doing something weird

Usually u need to change the batteries or check and see if u need new ones

The batteries probably need changed.
