Has anyone ever stayed at the Bayview Resort in Myrtle Beach? How is the location for walking to bars & restaurants?

I have not been there, but I know a few things about it.
The rooms are small!
The elevators are slow and have lines.
Clean
The location is really good!
We usually stay at a couple different places besides Myrtle Beach.
Have you tried renting a house? There are so many to rent!!! and many of them come with a golf cart to get around.
