If I feed my turtle more, will he get bigger?

he is only about 2 inches long (from top of she'll to the tail), and his previous owner said she used to only give him 2 food pellets a day. if I feed him more than that, will he get bigger?

Feeding your turtle more food will not make him any bigger. Turtles are slow growers and when it comes to feeding, they only need to be fed once or twice a day. Check out http://happyturtle.ms11.net/feeding.html for more information on feeding.

No if you give him to much food it will be sick and wont move very much

Feeding him more will not make him grow faster and could make him sick but what kind of turtle is he because I don't think that two pellets a day is enough food
