They can get up to 8 inches. I have 3 of them and they are huge, with the right diet and care they will get big. I feed them crickets and when it gets warm outside I just catch grasshoppers, they love them. Their cage has plants and some dirt and a heat rock, you can buy any of those at your local pet store.

A full grown blue belly lizard can measure upto 6 inches long. They are well known to feed on insects like ants, spiders, flies and caterpillars. Check out http://www.ehow.com/about_6541115_blue-belly-lizards-diet.html for more information.

You should probably just let it go, unless you're willing to get it a good tank with a heat lamp, and some meal worms and crickets.
and they stay pretty small. weird they sold them at the pet store once, though they are a pretty common lizard.

Well, the disease she has is incurable, she basically needs to just be able to cope with it and stuff. She'll never be 100% but at least be able to walk around and not be in pain is the goal. It's a very rare mitochondrial disease, on 70 people have it. But she's doing a lot better, she gained ten pounds and has a lot more energy:) she got a cold from the hospital though, don't know how she's doing now, but hoping its going away a bit. :) thanks for asking!

Hey sorry to be so blunt, but its after 12, and I'm so tired:/ only reason I'm not in bed yet is cause stuff on my mind and I can't breathe out my nose that well, but my mind can't hold a convo very well, I'm so dizzy, think I'm going to call it a night. We'll have to talk sometime tomorrow or soon:)
